She Work, summer 2015
A reckoning with “female” rage.

An adaptation of Euripides’ Medea, with the role of Medea rewritten to be performed by and as a genderfluid, queer person of color in exile, specifically for Nickels Sunshine. The play was staged in an apartment in MacArthur Park, to an audience of ten each night: a night at home with Medea.

She Work is the fourth and final play in Hedva’s The Greek Cycle.
